Circus acts and rides, children’s activities and stalls selling locally made food and drink are promised in Haworth during the Tour de France weekend.
The family-focused fun will be on offer at the spectator hub in Haworth Central Park on July 5 and 6.
Members of the community engagement group Worth the Tour discussed details of the planned attractions at their latest meeting in Keighley on Monday.
They were told the hub would feature children’s workshops and music. There will also be a produce market, with 25 stalls provided by Bradford Council for local people to showcase and sell locally produced food, drink, arts and crafts.
The last Worth the Tour meeting before the Grand Depart arrives in Keighley district will be on June 9 at Haworth Cricket Club at 7pm.
