Five people were hurt, with two taken to hospital, following a head-on crash involving a car and a security van this evening.
The collision happened on Kirk Lane at Yeadon, involving a Renault Clio and a security van, though all occupants had been able to get out of the damaged vehicles before emergency services arrived.
Two of the three teenage occupants of the Renault were taken to hospital, with the other three casualties sustaining only minor injuries from the impact.
Firefighters from the Idle and Rawdon stations attended the incident and closed the road to allow emergency services to work and clean up oil which had spilled onto the carriageway.
Several ambulances were called and West Yorkshire Police also attended.
