A man appeared in court yesterday accused of stealing headlights and a grille from a Range Rover.
Yasser Nasser, 24, of Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, is alleged to have targeted a vehicle that was parked at Nuffield Fitness Health and Wellbeing club on Otley Road, Guiseley, on April 7 this year.
Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court heard that the headlights and grille were valued at £3,500.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence and will now stand trial at Bradford Crown Court on July 18, when he will also face three other similar charges.
Prosecutor Vincent O’Malley described the stealing of the headlights and grille as “a fairly easy process, quite surprisingly”.
Police have set up a specialist operation after a rise in the number of Range Rovers targeted.
