Veteran BBC radio and television star Mark Radcliffe will be performing at the Grand Depart spectator hub in Keighley’s Victoria Park this July.
His involvement was announced by Keighley town councillor Tony Wright, who was delivering an update on plans for the hub during the latest meeting of community engagement group Worth the Tour. Coun Wright said that on Sunday, July 6, the hub would mainly act as a gathering point for dispersing people to the race’s best viewing points.
He added that on the Saturday there will be a wide range of entertainment, including a showing of the film Grease, circus-style acts and refreshments in the nearby leisure centre.
There will also be a market featuring at least 20 stalls.
