Real-ale enthusiasts have chosen joint winners of a heady ‘Pub of the Year’ accolade.
And the public is being invited by Keighley and Craven Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) to join in celebrations this Saturday. Activities will start at the King’s Arms, Silsden, at 2pm. There will be an award presentation about an hour later, and then ale enthusiasts will move on to the Brown Cow, in Keighley, from 5pm. Non-CAMRA members attending both events will receive a voucher for a free pint at this year’s Keighley or Skipton beer festivals. This Saturday also sees Keighley Rugby Union Club staging its second beer festival, at its clubhouse in Skipton Road.
Admission to the event, which runs from noon-11pm, is £2. Food will be available.
