An MP walked over red hot coals to help a children’s cancer charity.
Stuart Andrew (above) was only at the Pudsey fundraiser to show his support – but he was persuaded by organisers to take part in the firewalk in aid of the Little Heroes Cancer Trust.
The Pudsey MP said: “I was initially going along to show my support for this unique fundraising event but was soon persuaded by Lee Cindy Naylor to take part.
“I confess to being apprehensive particularly when they first lit the fire, but after excellent training I somehow found the courage to have a go.
“It is an experience I will not forget in a while, that’s for sure.
“At the end of the day it is for a great charity.”
