Police today found the body of an elderly man inside his Bradford home after being called because of concerns he had not been seen for several days.

West Yorkshire Police said they were called at about 10am to the address in Osmond House, Croscombe Walk, Little Horton, Bradford, because of concerns for the safety of an elderly man.

When they entered the property they discovered his body, but it is understood the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police will now work alongside the Coroner, who will investigate the circumstances of the death and decide whether an inquest into the circumstances needs to be held.
