A special service of holy communion will take place at All Saints’ Church in Ilkley.
As a gift to the whole town as well as to the parish, the well-known soprano, Una Barry (pictured), and guest organist, Graham Barber, will be performing music at 9.15am on Sunday, May 18.
Both were born and brought up in the East End of London, and became friends and colleagues in the 70s in Colchester, and have now ended up living a few miles apart in Yorkshire.
