Bradford supermarket giant Morrisons is holding its very own Tour de France to raise money for charity.
As part of the national Work Out at Work Day, Morrisons is hosting three cyclathons – two of them in Bradford – and is looking for volunteers to take part.
The challenge for each site is to complete the equivalent distance of the Yorkshire legs of the Tour, a combined total of 242 miles. The winner will be the site that does the most miles in six hours.
Morrisons’ headquarters at Hilmore House, in Gain Lane, Bradford, will host the first cyclathon on June 2. The Farmers Boy food factory on Greenside Park will hold the third one on June 12.
The second event is at a distribution site in Wakefield on June 4.
Anyone who wants to take part should contact 0845 6116041. Entrants will be asked for a £1 donation to Sue Ryder.
