A collision involving two lorries caused long delays on the motorway network near Bradford yesterday. Two lanes of the westbound M62 had to be closed after the collision between junction 25 at Brighouse and junction 24 at Ainley Top. The collision involved an Eddie Stobart lorry and a blue Scania.
The incident, just after 1pm, left debris and damaged vehicles in lanes one and two of the motorway.
It took several hours to clear and for the vehicles to be recovered.
At one point, tailbacks stretched back to junction 28 at Tingley.
A police spokesman said no one was hurt in the collision.
