School teams will test their soccer skills at one of the biggest five-a-side tournaments in the country for pupils, to take place in Keighley.
Bradford Council’s sport and leisure service has organised the event, for Monday, May 19, and is being sponsored by the My Lahore Cafe Bar.
More than 950 players in 140 teams will participate in the festival at Keighley's Marley Activities and Coaching Centre. The festival has been taking place for the last 16 years and it will be played over three evenings, from 4pm to 7pm.
Phil Barker, assistant director for sport and leisure, said: “Primary and secondary school pupils from all over the district will be taking part in this popular festival and I hope friends and relatives will go along and give them some support.
“It is important that young people are provided with enjoyable opportunities to take part in physical activity and sport, which is the message we are pushing home through our b-active campaign. Be active, be healthy and have fun – it’s as simple as that."
There are six age categories in the event, and all participants will receive a certificate.
