The fourth season of Manningham Walks will start later this month to give walkers the opportunity to learn more about this area.
The first of this year’s walks will be waved off by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain, from the Chaat Cafe in Manningham Mills, Lilycroft Road, on Sunday, May 18, at 2pm.
The walk is free and led by a costumed guide, taking up to 90 minutes at an easy pace.
“We are pleased to renew, by popular demand, our summer series of guided walks around the Manningham area,” said organiser Peter Nias.
“In previous years we’ve had an average of between 20-25 people of all ages and backgrounds attending each time.”
The walks are all organised by the Manningham Mills Community Association. More details are available by telephone on (01274) 483861 or at mmca bradford.org.uk/projects.
