An MP has raided his toolbox to put together a larger-than-life installation to celebrate the Tour de France.
Keighley MP Kris Hopkins has built the plywood bicycle shape – painted in the Tour’s signature colour of yellow – to display on the outside of his home in Haworth.
“Lots of people will be making the effort to decorate their homes,” he said. “This is the biggest annual spectator event in the world which is coming right past the end of our street, and it’ll be a great boost for businesses and the wider community.”
