The Rotary Club of Ilkley run an annual handwriting competition for Year 4 pupils at local primary schools.
This year, all ten schools participated. The overall best school was Westville with winning pupil, Max Barratt, receiving a Lamy fountain pen and a certificate. A winning school certificate was presented to the headmistress, Mrs Rosey James.
The presentation was made by rotary club president John Metcalf.
Fountain pens were also given to the best pupils in the other nine participating schools.
