A drug dealer netted in a major undercover police operation to rid Bradford’s streets of heroin and cocaine must repay more than £16,000 earned through his crimes.
Khorum Parvez was jailed for six years last September for two sets of drugs offences. He supplied heroin and crack cocaine to undercover officers in April last year, after first selling drugs in July 2012.
Yesterday at a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at Bradford Crown Court, Parvez was ordered to repay £16,016.80p.
Parvez was caught as part of Operation Stalebank, an operation that snared street dealers in the West Bowling, Manchester Road and Manningham areas.
Officers posing as addicts rang known dealer lines and exchanged cash for wraps of Class A drugs.
