A Keighley event will focus on the opportunities being created for sport and leisure by this summer’s arrival of the Tour de France.
The Active Bradford Partnership – comprising groups committed to raising the profile of sport and physical activity – will stage a seminar at University Academy Keighley on May 30.
Speakers will include Keighley MP Kris Hopkins; Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Gary Verity; John Dennis, of the Active Bradford Partnership and Liz Barker of the community engagement group Worth the Tour.
The main event runs from 9am to 1.30pm and costs £15 per delegate – with £5 student concessions available. People interested in taking part can go to eventbrite.com/e/tourism-sport-physical-activity-active-bradford-partnership-tickets-11266222575 to register.
