The departing chairman of Airedale Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was thanked for his years of service to the organisation.
Colin Millar’s contribution was recognised at the latest meeting of the foundation trust’s management board.
Non executive director Ronald Drake said: “I would like to say thank you to Colin. He has occupied his post with incredible skill, intellectual rigour and openness during some very challenging times and that is truly admirable.”
Mr Millar said: “I’ve found it very rewarding to work with you all, it’s been a privilege to have been chairman at the hospital.”
His successor is Michael Luger, who served as Dean of Manchester Business School for seven years.
