A campaign to send a sick baby to America for treatment is gathering pace.
A coffee morning and an Easter fun day raised £1,000 in aid of one-year-old Nicole Vendettuoli.
The tot, of Oakworth, Keighley, suffers from cerebral palsy. Money will help pay for an operation.
Nicole’s mum Candice said thanks to Farish House in Keighley, where £284 was raised at a coffee morning.
The Globe pub in Keighley raised £780 with an Easter fun day. Candice said: “The event was put together in ten days – thank you to Heather and Julie.”
Nicole’s fund will be further boosted by a champagne afternoon tea at the Old Registry, on Main Street in Haworth, on Saturday, May 10. Tickets for the fundraiser, hosted by hotel owners Peter and Leanne Quinn, are £20. Call (01535) 646503 for tickets.
There will be a football tournament at Marley Activities and Coaching Centre. Tickets, priced £2, can be bought on the day.
