A man arrested after scaling the roof of the former Odeon cinema in Bradford and allegedly hurling roof tiles on to the street below has been charged with affray and three counts of criminal damage.
The 30-year-old, of Great Horton Road, Bradford, has been bailed to appear before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 11.
Police had to cordon off the building on Sunday with Prince’s Way, part of Thornton Road and Godwin Street temporarily closed from about 9.30pm until 11pm as onlookers gathered in City Park to watch them deal with the incident in which a number of cars were reportedly damaged.
