Usman Iqbal
A 24-year-old man has been jailed for four and a half years for a knifepoint robbery in a Bradford street.
Usman Iqbal, of Naples Street, Girlington, Bradford, was due to stand trial yesterday for robbery and attempted robbery on November 10 last year.
He pleaded guilty before Judge Robert Bartfield at Bradford Crown Court before a jury was sworn in but after witnesses had come to court.
Iqbal tried to grab a phone from his first victim and then robbed a 19-year-old student of his phone later that day.
