The Brontë Film Season will begin on Monday with a classic version of Wuthering Heights.
The 1939 adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel starred Merle Oberon and Laurence Olivier as Cathy and Heathcliffe.
The season will also include the iconic 1943 Jane Eyre on April 4. The following day sees a rare screening of Devotion, from 1946, a fictionalised account of the Brontës’ lives.
Each of the screenings will be at the West Lane Baptist Centre, Haworth, from 7.30pm as part of Bradford Film Festival.
