Councillor Khadim Hussain
The charity of the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain was given a £500 boost thanks to pupils at Carlton Bolling College.
The school’s Charity Ambassadors held several events over the past few months, raising the money for Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure.
Earlier this month, the Lord Mayor invited post 16 pupils at the school to City Hall for a tour, during which they presented the cheque.
They got to see some of the district’s treasures and charter and learn about the history of Bradford.
