Friends of a University of Bradford student yesterday pleaded for him to get in touch after he was last seen earlier this week.
Aamir Qudeer, who turns 21 on Monday, was last seen on Wednesday at 1.15pm leaving his flat at Forster Hall student accommodation in Great Horton Road.
His friends said his last mobile phone activity was about an hour and a half later. Both his phones have since been switched off, they said.
“All the lads at Forsters are worried about you,” said one of his friends, who wanted to remain anonymous. “This is not like him – it is not a runaway case.
“We just want him, or whoever he is with, to get in contact with us or his family.”
Mr Qudeer had played football with friends on Tuesday night, before returning to his flat with friends and later going to sleep.
He added that Mr Qudeer had been involved in a relationship with a girl from Keighley.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police in Bradford on 101.
