Hats off to Doncaster Rovers for attracting more than 5,000 fans to their reserve game with Rotherham.
Admittedly it was a local derby but, still, that’s a fantastic turn-out.
Ok, maybe 4,990 of them were there to watch second-half substitute Louis Tomlinson of One Direction fame.
But Donny’s idea to rope in a local pop star is a great money-maker – and could catch on in the lower divisions.
I can just see Kimberley Walsh strutting her stuff in the claret and amber, though I’m not sure James Hanson would be able to pull off the look in the picture here in quite the same fashion.
