A mother suspected of murdering her young daughter is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Despite being no longer critically-ill, detectives have still not been able to question her about what happened on February 18 when she and her 22-month-old daughter, Amrita Kaur, were found in the garden of their home in Marshfields, Bradford, by a window cleaner.
Amrita died from injuries consistent with a fall from an upstairs window at the terraced house in Delamere Street.
Her 36-year-old mother is understood to have fallen from the same window soon after the girl.
Police, who have arrested her on suspicion of murder, yesterday said she had now been placed on bail pending further investigations.
