A squad of dancers from the district enjoyed success at a dance competition at the Barbican in York.
The 27 dancers from Ilkley’s Joze School of Performing Arts, aged from ten to 30 and including four boys, performed a single piece entitled Night At The Oscars choreographed by Jo Walters.
The music, from 12 films, was skillfully mixed by Ned Sproston.
The troupe won the Best Overall Performance and Best Dance Concept prizes.
