A car wash and car sales showroom on Sticker Lane in Bradford would cause traffic gridlock on a busy junction - highways officers have claimed.
Sundip Singh had applied to convert the former Collonade Insurance Brokers into a new business, but the plans have been thrown out by Bradford Council. Highways officers said that although the site had space for five cars, at busy times there could be queuing or parking on the road.
