A woman has been arrested after an already badly-damaged car was in a collision with four other vehicles and narrowly avoided another.
The blue Nissan Micra, which had no side or back windows and a smashed windscreen before any of the impacts, was involved in crashes with two vehicles in Halifax Road, Liversedge, and two on nearby Frost Hill, said police.
It is also believed to have had a near miss with another car as it turned at a junction.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and driving while unfit through drink in connection with the incident which occurred on Saturdayat about 2.30pm.
She has been interviewed and released on police bail.
