Five men accused of drugs offences had their cases committed to the Crown Court by Bradford and Keighley magistrates yesterday.
They were all arrested as part of Operation Stalebank, a crackdown on street drug dealing in the West Bowling, Girlington and Manningham areas of Bradford.
One of the defendants, Christopher Lee, 44, of Turner Place, Great Horton, admitted supplying heroin in the city on March 11 last year.
The other four defendants, who appeared in the dock, did not indicate any pleas.
Omar Khan, 20, of Lindley Road, Little Horton, is charged with three accounts of being concerned in the supply of heroin in January last year; Amir Hussain, 20, of Southfield Square, Manningham, is charged with one count of supplying crack cocaine and one of supplying heroin in February, 2013.
Abrar Khan, 40, of Great Horton Road, Great Horton, is charged with supplying heroin in the city on April 15 last year, near a school.
Azeem Hussain, 26, of Westfield Road, Heaton, is also charged with supplying heroin in the city on July 3 last year.
They were bailed to appear before the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, at the Crown Court on Wednesday, March 12.
