A group which encourages people in the Keighley district to grow their own food has secured funding to stage practical demonstration workshops.
Let’s Grow Keighley, which also aims to create jobs through environmental projects, will be putting on workshops which are particularly designed for people who do not have their own gardens.
Co-ordinator Pippa Chapman said the funding from Community First in Keighley West and Keighley Central wards would enable the group to run sessions on how to grow food in containers.
