Small businesses in Keighley should be looking to grow, says an accountant based in the town.
Dave Forrester, who runs TaxAssist Accountants, said figures show the UK economy is on the up – with 1.9 per cent growth last year.
He said it was welcome news, but added: “Keighley’s small businesses need to grow with the times.
“The Chancellor has given small businesses a helping hand by capping business rates and freezing fuel duty rises. And business owners we’ve been speaking to are now looking carefully at the challenges and opportunities for growth.”
