A male motorist has been taken to hospital after he suffered a back injury in a crash on the M606 in Bradford this afternoon.
His car hit a barrier between junction two and the M62 at Chain Bar on the southbound carriageway, at about 4.30pm.
No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Two lanes on the southbound carriageway were closed for more than an hour after the crash and traffic was backed up to junction three at Staygate Roundabout.
