One controversial proposal that was pushed through was the removal of discretionary transport entitlement for travel to faith schools.
The cut will start in September and save £220,000 starting in next year’s budget.
The cuts had been opposed by numerous religious groups, including the Bradford Diocese.
After the decision, the Venerable David Lee, Archdeacon of Bradford, said: “We regret it has happened, but it is understandable.
“We just hope schools now work with parents to help them find a way forward.”
