The organiser of a successful Keighley charity football tournament plans to stage the event again this spring.

Ingrow resident Darren Gilmartin arranged the 2013 five-a-side event in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Mr Gilmartin, 44, survived a heart attack in 2012 and his father, Noel, died of a heart attack three years ago. Last year’s tournament raised a total of £1,200 for the heart foundation.

The contest will be staged on Saturday, May 31, at Marley Stadium. A prize and a trophy will be presented to the winning team.
