Following popular demand for the cask ale version of its flagship beer, Ilkley’s Wharfedale Brewery has released a bottled version of Wharfedale Blonde.
The straw-coloured session ale is brewed using English malts which combine with a blend of New Zealand and American hops to create lingering citrus and grapefruit flavours.
The beer will shortly be available in a number of off-licences, wine shops and restaurants throughout the local area, as well as at wharfedalebrewery.com Marketing director Jonathan Shepherd said: “Following the popularity of its cask cousin, we’re delighted to be launching Blonde in bottles.
“We have also been contacted by a number of export agents interested in placing the bottles in outlets in a countries as far away as Canada, New Zealand and the USA.”
