Families are encouraged to get on their bikes as part of the half-term activities. A traffic-free bike ride for women and children along the towpath from Salterhebble to Brighouse takes place on Tuesday. Participants are asked to meet at the Lock-Keeper’s Cottage, Wakefield Road, Salterhebble, Halifax, at 10am for a bike and helmet check. There will be refreshments in Brighouse.
