Talented students of catering and media make-up from across Yorkshire and Humber will compete in a prestigious skills competition at Bradford College.
The college is hosting the regional finals of the Yorkshire and Humberside Matchfit Skills contest on March 12.
Culinary skills will be put to the test as entrants bake bread, make petit fours and serve curry.
The media make-up contest will see competitors use hairdressing and face and body make-up skills to create a visually-striking look on the theme of aliens.
Matchfit is a programme of skills competitions for students aged 16 and over, from across every education provider throughout Yorkshire and Humberside.
A spokesman said: “The competitions aim to inspire and embed a skills competition ethos within education and employment.”
Competitors receive a certificate for taking part, with winners receiving relevant prizes.
