Hundreds of people are expected to enjoy Bradford Beer Festival, which kicked-off last night.
The event, organised by the Bradford branch of The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), features more than 100 real ales, ciders, perries, fruit wines and international beers.
Festival organiser Tony Constable said: “Tickets for Friday and Saturday have gone extremely well. We do have a few tickets left for some sessions, but not many.
“We’ve tried to get most of the local breweries involved again. We do look to support our local beers.”
Mr Constable said the festival, at Victoria Hall in Saltaire, also benefited pubs and eateries.
“We do sell food at the festival, but the fact that 600 people turn up each session no doubt means there will be a few people buying food before the festival,” he said.
The festival continues today from 11.30am. There have been no pre-sale tickets for the lunchtime session and people are urged to arrive early.
Tonight, Eddie Earthquake & the Tremors perform and tomorrow Hall Royd Brass Band play in the afternoon and Down Reno in the evening.
