A film telling the “untold story behind Nelson Mandela” is being screened at Bradford International Film Festival.
Plot for Peace, due for cinema release on March 14, marks the 20th anniversary of Mandela’s inauguration in Pretoria in May 1994.
It will have a special screening at the National Media Museum on Friday, March 7, at 6pm, followed by a question-and-answer session with members of the team involved in it.
The documentary-style film unveils the well-kept secret of Mandela’s imprisonment and includes details of his release, interviews with heads of state, generals, diplomats, master spies and anti-apartheid fighters, revealing how Africa’s front line states helped end apartheid.
