Tickets have gone on sale for this year’s International Women’s Day lunch at the Midland Hotel in Bradford.
Proceeds from the event on Friday, March 7, from noon will go towards the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain’s Appeal which is supporting Bradford Disability Sport & Leisure. The Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Joanne Dodds, is hosting the lunch and Dot Haynes, of Bradford Disability Sport & Leisure, will be the talk about how the charity’s work in the district has inspired her.
Guests are invited to bring donations of toiletries for charities helping women and children who are homeless or suffering from abuse. To book tickets, which cost £21.50 each, call the Midland Hotel on (01274) 735735 with debit card details.
