James Blunt will be playing at North Yorkshire’s Dalby Forest as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live concert series.
The multi award-winning singer was propelled to stardom in 2005 with the release of debut album Back To Bedlam, which included the hits Goodbye My Lover and You’re Beautiful.
The album went on to become the biggest-selling album of that year and also of that decade. Since then, former soldier James has released follow-up albums All The Lost Souls and Some Kind of Trouble. Last year saw the release of his fourth album, Moon Landing.
The Dalby Forest date forms part of the Moon Landing 2014 tour by James and his band.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income from the concerts is spent on improving the woodland for people and wildlife.
- James Blunt and band plus special guests will be performing at Dalby Forest on Thursday, June 26. For tickets call 03000 680400 or go to forestry.gov.uk/music.
