Two local apprentices have been recognised in regional construction industry awards.
Kieran Simon, of Mitton Mechanical Services, Bradford, won the heating and ventilation apprentice award in the the Building & Engineering Services Association awards, while Graham Walter, of Ilkley-based NG Bailey, collected the building services incorporated engineer prize from B&ES president Bruce Bisset.
Mr Bisset praised B&ES member companies in Yorkshire for maintaining their commitment to training during recent difficult economic times for the industry.
