A race night at Silsden raised £402 in support of a multiple sclerosis sufferer who is taking part in the London Marathon.
Fifty people packed into the function room at the King’s Arms, which had been given for free.
The proceeds will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Trust as part of the fundraising effort of Glusburn woman Melissa Joy, who is coining in money for the charity through sponsorship in the April 13 marathon.
Master of ceremonies at the race night was her partner, Tom Smith.
The evening’s £25 Tote Double was won by a staff member from Silsden Co-op.
Event organiser, Allan Friswell, said: “The evening was a resounding success. Everyone had a great time.
“We all wish Melissa the very best for the marathon.”
