A taxi driver was cut out of his vehicle after it collided with a van travelling in the opposite direction this evening.
Firefighters were called from Odsal and Cleckheaton after the incident, which took place on Wyke Lane, Bradford, at 7.20pm.
The two vehicles side swiped each other, and while the van driver was uninjured, the driver of the private hire car suffered neck injuries.
Fire crews cut the roof and side off the vehicle and removed the driver on a stretcher. He was taken by ambulance to Bradford Royal Infirmary, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A passenger was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The crews were at the scene for two hours before handing the incident over to police.
