Animal magic was on the menu when Baker Mike visited Oakworth Primary School.
Mike Armstrong, the master baker at Sainsbury’s, showed Year 3 pupils how to bake food with healthy ingredients.
He demonstrated how to make bread in the shape of snowmen, mice, hedgehogs and crocodiles.
He also showed them how to make basic pizza dough then created a healthy pizza with toppings of cheese, onions and mushrooms.
Mr Armstrong said the feast of pizza, bread and especially chocolate hot-cross buns went down well with all children.
He said the pupils were among the best behaved and well-mannered he had worked with.
