Over-50s are invited to a free advice event about staying well in cold weather.
The Spreading Warmth and Wellbeing drop-in has been organised by Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action (KIVCA) and will be held in the Winter Gardens, Station Road, Ilkley, on Friday, from 10.30am to 2pm.
Older People's Development Manager at KIVCA, Julie Lintern, said: “The event will bring together different services and agencies who will be able to inform local residents about how to stay safe and well during cold weather spells and adverse weather conditions.”
Agencies confirmed so far are Home Energy Checks, Fuel Debt Advice, Neighbourhood Watch, Age UK, Self Care, Council Wardens, Churches Together in Ilkley, Good Neighbours and The Clarke Foley Centre.
