TV Licensing is encouraging Bradford’s businesses to make sure they are correctly licensed for employees viewing TV in the workplace.
The reminder comes as recent BBC iPlayer figures showed five of the top 20 live TV programmes viewed during 2013, including the funeral of Baroness Thatcher and Andy Murray’s Wimbledon progress, were televised during business hours.
If an employee is caught watching TV illegally, they or the business may be held liable and fined up to £1,000.
