A car salesman caught red-handed dispensing Class A drugs on the streets of Bradford has been jailed for four years.
Saleem Sadik, 34, of Toller Lane, Bradford, admitted four offences involving the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
Prosecutor Richard Davies told Bradford Crown Court today Sadik was seen selling drugs from a car on February 13 last year.
He had £500 cash on him, five mobile phones and 47 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.
He was arrested and bailed and went on to commit three more drugs offences in the next few weeks.
The court heard Sadik supplied drugs to undercover police officers working on Operation Stalebank, a crackdown on street dealers in the city.
Sadik’s solicitor advocate, Andrew Walker, said: “He has been drawn in and dragged in to this offending.”
He was working for others in the drugs supply chain while making a legitimate living in the motor trade.
