Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure (BDSL) is organising a line-dancing extravaganza in the city’s Centenary Square.
The fun event, which will be on Saturday, April 12, is in aid of the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s appeal. BDSL would like to hear from line dancers, either as individuals or groups, who want to take part. It will cost £5.
Sue Brook, who works for BDSL and is a line dance instructor, said: “This could be a marvellous time for the people of the Bradford area to have a community event which shows the positive side of our citizens to the world.“ BDSL chairman Hilary White said: “We would like people of all ages, both sexes and all the diverse communities to take part.”
As well as line dancing, there will be a DJ, tombola, and belly dancing, among other activities. Contact Sue Brook or Barry Thorne at bsr1@btconnect.com or ring (01274) 437093.
