Several hundred people gathered to pay their respects at the funeral of tragic Haworth mum Lorna Clymo.
Keighley Shared Church was packed for the 12.45pm ceremony yesterday for the care worker, who died after falling from a multi-storey car park.The church was so full that many of the well-wishers had to stand outside.
Dozens of people stood to greet the hearse bearing Lorna’s coffin as it arrived by the market cross outside the church.
The coffin was decorated with large white floral tributes spelling out “Mum” and “Aunty”.
Lorna, of North Street, Haworth, was found beneath the Airedale shopping centre car park in Keighley, early on Saturday, February 1. The former Greenhead Grammar School student had worked for Elmar HomeCare and had a son, Josh, and siblings Tony and Sharon.
An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned last Wednesday, and will recommence later.
